The Vialattea ski area (Milky Way) covers 400 kilometres of ski runs in Sauze d’Oulx, Sestriere, Sansicario, Claviere and Montgenevre in France.The ski area offers 212 pistes (7 green, 67 blue, 97 red and 41 black) and 69 ski lifts.

K2 & Nordica Skis
K2 is the original American Ski and Snowboard Brand, founded in 1962 in Washington State. The brand continued to pioneer by expanding into snowboards in 1987 and was the first brand to specifically engineer products for women starting in 1999.
The Nordica ski brand was born in the Italian Dolomites by mountain lovers, craftsmen and ski athletes. It’s a very innovative brand, still based in Italy, that produces superb skis.
Our Location
Faure Sport ski hire is in the centre of Sauze d’Oulx in Piazza Assietta, next to the K2 hotel and Vialattea ticket office.

Can I change skis during my rental period if I want to?
Yes, one change during you ski rental period is free, more than one you just pay the cost of servicing the skis.
Can I change my ski boots?
Yes, ski boots are free to change and you can do so until you’re comfortable with them.
What’s the difference between normal and superior ski boots and helmets?
Superior denotes a product that is newer and of higher quality.
What does the ski insurance cover?
The insurance covers 80% of the value of the skis so if the skis are damaged, lost or stolen, you will be required to pay the remaining 20%
Can I try before I buy a pair of skis?
Yes. We have a wide variety of skis including Van Deer, Stockli, K2 and Nordica. If you decide not to buy, you just pay the rental period.
How new are the skis you rent in Sauze d’Oulx?
All our premium and top of the range skis are brand new each season, these include Superior Plus Carver skis, Gold & Freeride.
